STAR*NET Certification 3 : Standard Errors
Learn the fundamentals of computing and applying standard errors and apply them to preanalysis and an instrument library
Prerequisites:
STARNET 2: Introduction to Least Squares adjustment and the STAR*NET Interface
Correct definition of measurement standard errors is critical to allowing STAR*NET to perform a properly weighted adjustment. In this course we will learn what standard errors are and how they flow through the adjustment process, will learn about sources and tools for deriving simple and more complex applications of instrument standard errors, and will apply what we have learned using both preanalysis and the STAR*NET Instrument Library.
